By Lukas Claes

After narrowly losing Game 1 of the NBL Finals, the London Lightning took Game 2 at home 124-107.

Just like in Game 1, it was a physical match-up with 60 total fouls.

In the 100th meeting between the Lightning and the Express, every player managed to get on the board for London.

After losing possession of the ball in the dying seconds of Game 1, Jermaine Haley stepped up in a big way, leading the Lightning in points with 28, as well as notching six rebounds and five assists. Haley was also a perfect six of six from the charity stripe.

Mareik Isom also stood out with 20 points and four assists.

Kur Jongkuch didn't get the start early, but was effective with 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Jeremiah Mordi wasn't great from the field only hitting three of his 10 shots, but he made up for it by hitting all 10 of his free throws. Mordi finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Marcus Ottey also contributed with 15 points, one rebound and eight assists.

The Express were better from the three-point line (54 percent to the Lightning's 33 percent) unfortunately, their 19 turnovers seemed to be the difference in the game as the Lightning only gave the ball up 11 times.

Before being ejected alongside Lightning's Mike Nuga, Billy White had a team-high 22 points, three rebounds and two assists. None of his teammates were able to surpass him, even after his ejection.

Nick Garth was second on the Express with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Justin Moss was more productive than he was in Game 1, putting up 15 points and five rebounds.

Latin Davis had 14 points, six rebounds and 11 assists. Ja'Myrin Jackson added 13 points as well as a pair of rebounds and an assist.

With the series now tied at 1-1, the series goes back to Windsor for Game 3 on Tuesday, May 23rd.
