NBLC Game Recap | Windsor Express vs. London Lightning | Game 1 | NBLC Finals 05/18

In their 99th meeting, the London Lightning were narrowly outdueled by the Windsor Express 105-104 at home in Game 1 of the NBL Finals.  It was a very physical game as the two teams combined for 50 fouls.

Ja'Myrin Jackson led the Express in points with 26 points, three rebounds and three assists.  Latin Davis was also a huge factor in the win with 25 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Davis was also great from the three-point line hitting five of his six shots.

Billy White shot 50 percent from the field, notching 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.  Justin Moss didn't see as much playing time, but in his place was William Claiborne who did a good job, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Nick Garth finished 12 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Terry Thomas was the top-scorer for the Lightning, with 19 points, five rebounds and two assists. 

Jeremiah Mordi was second on the stat sheet with, seven rebounds and four assists while going perfect on his seven free throw attempts.  Mike Nuga put up 17 points and Diego Kaplan had 14.

In a one-point game, the Lightning may point at their free throw percentage for the blame, hitting only 69 percent, while the Express hit 78.

Game 2 is set for Saturday night in London with a 7:00pm tip-off.
